From Lech Wałęsa Airport to Stadium

4 Hours before and 4 hours after each Euro 2012 match (10th, 14th, 18th and 22nd june) between Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport and the stadium you can travel by special, free of charge bus line with “Continental” company logo. Traveling by “Contibuses” on this route will take you about 37 minutes. These buses don’t stop on any stop on the route beetwen Airport and Stadium. If you want to see the stadium on other days, you should go by bus via city center (information below).

From Lech Wałęsa Airport to city center and Wrzeszcz

From 7th june to 1st july antoher one special free of charge Contibus line will be created. Buses will run between airport – park&ride P1 (Auchan, Szczęśliwa street) – park&ride P2 (Armii Krajowej street) – city center – main railway station. The travel will take only 17 minutes. Regardless of these buses another bus line will be available (110 to Wrzeszcz, which is one of main city district with lots of transport changing possibility, 210 to the city center and old town, and 888 OLT Express privat line), but we don't recommend to travel by it because of long travel time and necessity to pay for a ticket. Buses will depart every 7 and 15 minutes.

From Main Railway Station Gdańsk Główny and city center to Stadium

During match days, additional SKM urban trains on the Gdańsk Główny - Stadium route will be made available three hours before the game, up until three hours after its end. They will leave every 10 minutes from platform 3. The route will take only six minutes and will be completely free of charge. It is undoubtedly the best way to reach the Stadium.

For those arriving from the side of Gdynia and Sopot, the better solution would be taking the SKM train to Gdańsk Politechnika station, and eventually reaching the stadium by foot, which takes only 15 minutes.

Taking the trams towards the Stadium from the city center (a special line number 60 will be created) we can only reach the Węzeł Kliniczna stop. Further on, we will have to reach the stadium by foot (about 20 minute walk). For that reason, we suggest choosing the SKM train, which will take us straight to the stadium from the Main Railway Station.

Transport to Fan Zone area

The Fan Zone in Gdańsk is located 600 meters from the Main Railway Station and 500 meters from the bus station next to Brama Oliwska tram stop (arrival from the side of Oliwa, Wrzeszcz and Central Station using tram lines 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14, with lines 2 and 6 running until 3 AM). If you plan on reaching the stadium from the Main Railway Station, we strongly recommend taking a trip by foot.

Basic information about city transport

The carriage of luggage and bicycle in ZTM Gdańsk buses and tramways is free. 100% buses, and about 35% tramways are lowflor. The best means of transport between Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia are, however, SKM city trains.
City transport (ZTM Gdańsk) ticket prices:

Single ticket for one journey (not availible in the bus, only in office, shops, ticket machine) – 3zł

One hour ticket with possibility of line changing (availible in bus, office, shops, ticket machine) – 3,60 zł.

24h. Ticket –12 zł (valid in all meanings of city transport in Gdańsk except SKM, availible in bus, office, shops, ticket machine).

After purchasing a ticket always remember about validate it in a punch inside the buses and trams (it does not matterwhereyou boughtthem). In SKM network punches ussualy are in underpasses and on the platforms.
